A native of Cuba who came to the U.S. at age 14, Delgado de Armas is a graduate of both Florida International University and St. Thomas University School of Law. He was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1989. After four years as a partner in Martinez, Quintana, Arboleya & Delgado de Armas in Coral Gables, he founded his own firm in 1994. For more than a decade, Delgado de Armas taught courses in wills, trusts and estates at FIU and Miami-Dade College. He has also served as Special Master for the City of Miami.
